• have an understanding of education and educators
• be comfortable in using a variety of social networking and Web 2.0 technologies
• have a proven track record of community building and presence in various social networks.
• have excellent communications skills (especially written) and a well developed online voice.
• have an understanding of professional learning communities.
• have a well defined vision for the use of social technologies in schools and experience in implementing them in innovative ways
